Julia is one of the gorgeous teachers at our girl's school and her husband Rhys is the electrician who will be working on our new house and studio.

His profession was the inspiration for one of the images below...yes they're light bulbs in their mouths.

They are such a beautiful, happy, sweet couple. Julia made a stunning bride, and for some reason every time I looked at Rhys he reminded me of Superman. He looked as though at any moment he might rip his shirt open to reveal a big "S" underneath. See what you think...

Roger and I live in the country (horses, chickens, six-fingered banjo players...you get the idea).

Most of our wedding clients live somewhere else (Perth, interstate, overseas).

This means that we often don't get to meet the bride and groom before the wedding day.

It's one of the things we really love about shooting weddings and one of the things that our clients love about us. It means that we treat each wedding as a unique event - even though we've shot weddings for years and years, we've never shot THIS wedding before.

We pride ourselves on tailoring our style to suit the couple, not shooting the same way at each wedding - and we never just "go through the motions".

When we arrived at Adora's room at the Hyatt Hotel in Perth and saw what she and the girls were wearing we knew we were in for a fun day. I looked at Roger and said "Retro Bettys?" and he answered in his best Austin Power's voice "Yeah Baby!"

We had a ball, and we're pretty sure that Adora, Mark and their bridal party did to.
